COVID-19 Update

January 10th Update
We are back on campus with our optical open from Tuesday to Friday 11am to 3pm. We will offer eye examination appointment on appointment basis. Please call us to make an appointment request. November 14th Update

Starting  November 16th, we will temporarily close our physical location for any exam appointment or in-person services due to covid-19 and the majority of campus instruction is happening remotely. During this time, if you are in need of any attention/or prescription record, please contact us through email staff@unfeyecenter.com or text/call us at (904) 853-0767. We will respond to your request. You can continue to order contact lens online thru our website, your CL will be shipped to you directly from our lab. For order pick up, please contact us to make an arrangement.  Thank you for your continued support and we hope to see you on campus very soon!  

August 13th Update
  1. We are back on campus on Tues, Wed, Thursday, and Friday from 11am to 3pm to serve your eye care needs.
  2. We are taking extra precaution to thoroughly sanitizing our office throughout the day and at closing. Every frame will be cleaned and disinfected after being tried on to ensure cleanliness. All equipment, counter-tops and chairs will be thoroughly sanitized after every appointment. 
  3. All our staff and doctor are wearing face mask during patient care hours 
  4. We have spaced out appointments to ensure proper social distancing. 
  5. We require everyone visiting our office to have face covering to protect the health of others. This is consistent with the UNF campus guidelines. 
  6. If you have any flu like symptoms, have any fever, or had been in contact with anyone tested covid-19 positive, please call to cancel or reschedule your appointment at no charge.
  7. We ask everyone to fill out our online pre-exam form ahead of time to speed up the check-in process
  8. We advise everyone to clean their hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer upon check in.
  9. We are available for telehealth consultation for urgent eye care and certain follow up appointments. 
  10. If you need to reorder your contact lenses, you can use our contact lens reorder website.  Our staff will receive notification and process your order. Your contact lens will be shipped directly to your home/office address you specified.
  11. If you have a contact lens prescription from an outside provider, please provide us a current copy of your contact lens prescription when you order online.
